- Fever that lasts 24 hours or longer
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Pain in the stomach
- Skin rash
- Feeling unusually tired
- Increased heart rate
- Rapid breathing
- Red eyes
- Redness/swelling of the lips and tongue
- Redness/swelling of hands or feet
- Headache, dizziness, or light-headedness

While the risk of developing MIS-C falls on the lower side, early diagnosis is crucial.
The most common signs and symptoms are body pain, breathlessness, confusion, and excruciating fatigue.
Although most children with MIS-C are between the ages of 3 and 12 years old, (average age being 8 years), some cases have occurred in babies & in few older children.
